Emergency Humanitarian Intervention
TUOS has since the beginning been on the forefront in providing humanitarian assistance to families and communities affected by shocks and disasters from the provision of food items and clothes to families affected by fire disasters to digging of shallow wells and provision of jericans,, clothes, tents, to IDP families and disaster affected families. TUOS has since been involved in the distribution of both Food and Non-Food relief supplies and provision of cash support to newly arrived, evicted, fire and flood affected IDP families in South Central Somalia namely Dhusamareb, Guriel, South Galkayo with the support of various donors. TUOS in partnership with CARE/WFP has also been involved in the distribution of food to the communities in Dhusamareb and Guriel. The organisation has provided more than 2000Mts of food to the communities under the emergency food distribution and food for asset program.
