Agriculture (Food & Security Program).
The program supports and provides capacity to farmers on innovative methods for more efficient and sustainable agricultural production to enhance food security, incomes, and nutrition that benefit small-scale farmers. Under the program TUOS provides seeds and seedlings to farmers and capacity building trainings on food production, fishing, and entrepreneurship. The program also provides guidance on new or underutilized crops, fruits, and vegetables, and high-value animal products to boost both incomes and nutrition. TUOS work with the community on provision of support on financial services, small scale mechanization, reduction of post harvest losses and young people employment in agriculture.
